Pokud by rozt\u00e1l ve\u0161ker\u00fd zdej\u0161\u00ed led, hladiny v\u0161ech mo\u0159\u00ed by se zvedly p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b\u00a0o 60 m. Antarktida je Transantarktick\u00fdm masivem rozd\u011blena na dv\u011b \u010d\u00e1sti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Nadmo\u0159sk\u00e1 v\u00fd\u0161ka<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Pr\u016fm\u011brn\u00e1 nadmo\u0159sk\u00e1 v\u00fd\u0161ka na Antarktid\u011b \u010din\u00ed 2 500 m a nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00ed hora Vinson Massif sah\u00e1 do v\u00fd\u0161ky a\u017e 4 897 m. Ve v\u00fdchodn\u00ed \u010d\u00e1sti australsk\u00e9ho antarktick\u00e9ho \u00fazem\u00ed je nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00edm bodem Mt McClintock se svou v\u00fd\u0161kou 3 492 m. Nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00ed horou z\u00e1padn\u00ed \u010d\u00e1sti australsk\u00e9ho antarktick\u00e9ho \u00fazem\u00ed je Mt Menzies, kter\u00fd se zdvih\u00e1\u00a0do v\u00fd\u0161ky a\u017e 3 228 m. Antarktidu tak m\u016f\u017eeme prohl\u00e1sit za nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00ed ze v\u0161ech kontinent\u016f.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Sr\u00e1\u017eky<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Navzdory mno\u017estv\u00ed ledu, kter\u00e9 se zde nach\u00e1z\u00ed, je Antarktida nejsu\u0161\u0161\u00edm kontinentem na Zemi. Mno\u017estv\u00ed sr\u00e1\u017eek zaznamenan\u00fdch na t\u00e9to pol\u00e1rn\u00ed plo\u0161in\u011b je srovnateln\u00e9 s nejsu\u0161\u0161\u00edmi pou\u0161t\u011bmi sv\u011bta.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Antarktick\u00fd v\u00edtr<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Antarktida je tak\u00e9 nejv\u011btrn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm kontinentem. V\u00edtr zde vane pob\u0159e\u017en\u00edmi svahy vlivem gravitace rychlost\u00ed a\u017e 327 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Podneb\u00ed<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Antarktida je zmrzl\u00e1 pou\u0161\u0165 s minimem sr\u00e1\u017eek. Na Ji\u017en\u00edm p\u00f3lu nespadne v\u00edce ne\u017e pr\u016fm\u011brn\u011b 10 cm sr\u00e1\u017eek ro\u010dn\u011b. Teplota dosahuje minima v rozmez\u00ed od &#8211; 80 \u00b0C do &#8211; 90 \u00b0C ve vnitrozem\u00ed v zim\u011b a maxima mezi 5 \u00b0C a 15 \u00b0C na pob\u0159e\u017e\u00ed v l\u00e9t\u011b.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Rozloha<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Zahrneme-li v\u0161echny ostrovy a ledovce, je Antarktida p\u0159ibli\u017en\u011b jeden a p\u016fl kr\u00e1t v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e USA, dvakr\u00e1t v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e Austr\u00e1lie a pades\u00e1tkr\u00e1t v\u011bt\u0161\u00ed ne\u017e Velk\u00e1 Brit\u00e1nie. Rozprost\u00edr\u00e1 se na plo\u0161e o rozloze 13 661 km<sup>2<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\">Nejbli\u017e\u0161\u00ed pevnina<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Nejbli\u017e\u0161\u00edm kontinentem k Antarktid\u011b je Ji\u017en\u00ed Amerika. Konkr\u00e9tn\u011b jde o bod na hranic\u00edch Argentiny a Chile.
